Prince Edward Island | DAY 3

Now for our 3rd and final day in P.E.I! We woke up and fried ourselves some bacon for breakfast. Before taking the tent down and packing up we went over to the campgrounds recreation area and played some mini putt and then went swimming in the pool. (I tried to teach Craig how to float, it didn't go so well. I think he's made of lead).

So we packed up and got ourselves ready to go.

We needed to see one of the Duneland beaches so we made sure we stopped at Brackley Beach. Oh my goodness, what a beach!

It was gorgeous there! People weren't swimming though because the waves were quite big and there were tons of jelly fish being washed on shore.

On the way home we did a little more sight seeing and stopped at a goat soap shop (Craig needed to pet the goats) and then we came across the Car Life Museum. Of course we needed to pull over and see what it was all about!

The very friendly lady who owned the museum told us we just had to visit Victoria by the Sea on our way to the bridge. So we did.

The tide was out so I could walk over to this mound of sand! It was really beautiful there. After that we finally made it to Borden-Carleton. That's the place where you take the Confederation Bridge to come and go from the island. Our way home.

Before leaving we stopped to eat at a restaurant called Gateway Lobster Shop where I had one of the best lobster rolls i've ever eaten!

Thats the Confederation Bridge. Its 13 km long! We took this picture at the other end of the bridge in New Brunswick. Look how long that thing is!

So that's the end of our trip! We were only there for 3 days but we had an amazing time! Can't wait to go back again some day.
