I'm excited to announce that i'll be doing Blogmas this year! If you don't know what Blogmas is, its when you post something every day from December 1st to December 25th. I'm pretty sure all of the posts are supposed to be like Christmas-related or like festive- i'm not 100% sure on that- But, I doubt mine will all be festive. I'm just going to post everyday and see how it goes!

I'm excited to try this because as i've mentioned previously i've been in a bit of a blogging funk and i'm hoping that by making myself come up with fun, new posts everyday i'll get myself out of this funk!

So yeah! If you're doing blogmas this year let me know in the comments so I can follow you!

Life Lately | November Edition

Reading: I have finally finished reading The Stolen Child. I picked up a couple new books from the second hand store recently so i've just started reading Heart Of The Matter by Emily Giffin.

Watching: Are you the one? That reality game show I was talking about the other day. I'm on the last season. I also just watched Inside Out last night. Such a cute movie!! I loved it.

Listening: Hello by Adele and Love Myself by Hailee Steinfeld. Been loving those two lately!

Eating: Craig and I have started a new tradition a couple of weeks ago. Pub Food Fridays! I've been really enjoying wings every Friday since. Last Friday we also enjoyed some pickles and fried pepperoni with our wings. So good.

Excited: The most exciting thing happened this past Friday....we finally heard our baby's heartbeat!! Two weeks ago was my scheduled appointment to hear the heartbeat but my doctor couldn't find it. So she asked us to come back in a weeks time to try again. You can just imagine how worried I was all week. But! She found it straight away this time and Craig and I just ended up laughing uncontrollably because we were so excited and happy to finally hear it!

Hoping: We get the financing for this car we've been looking at. Fingers crossed!

Buying: Nothing lately. We're trying to be as frugal as possible with our spending so we can get some old debts paid up. I will have to start picking up a few Christmas presents soon though!

Dreaming: Nothing i'm actually "dreaming" about. But speaking of actual dreams...mine have been crazy lately! Like watching a movie while I sleep.

Searching: For cars. We think we found the one we want. A beautiful little Subaru Forester.

Explored: Again, no where! Haven't been getting out much lately.

What have you been getting up to recently this month?

Life, Reality tv & Cheetos

Hey guys! Just another chatty post today. Hope you don't mind these kinds of posts because that's all i've got for today. If i'm being completely honest, i'm not even really in the mood to write this post. I haven't been in the mood to update my blog in a long time. But the thing is, I want too.

I want to just come up with brilliant post ideas and blog my little heart out but I just can't.

So i'll do what I can at the moment. Write a post just talking about life.

So if you've read my previous post you'll know that i'm pregnant! Things have gotten a lot better. Very little sickness. There's one thing I didn't really expect about being pregnant though....I worry about everything. The slightest cramp or discomfort i'm a big ball of mess thinking something bad is going to happen. Stressful times guys. I'm trying not to worry too much though.

I'd also like to clarify something about my blog. I know some people end up un-following certain blogs when the blogger announces a pregnancy because people automatically assume the blog is now going to become nothing more than a pregnancy blog and they just aren't into that. I'd like to say that my blog will continue along as normal as usual. I'm not saying I won't post about baby things because i'm definitely going to but i'm also going to post my regular content. If you're still not into it then thats okay too! I've literally already lost 10 followers in a week since I posted about being pregnant! Kind of crazy but hey! What can ya do?

On to other matters..

I've been obsessed with a reality game show! It's called Are You The One? Have any of you seen it?

I've been watching the first two seasons online and I can't get enough. Basically there's 10 women and 10 men all living in a house and they have to work together to find their "perfect match" in the house. They get 10 chances to pick and if they choose correctly they win one million dollars. Ugh, so good! You should check it out if you haven't seen it before.

I don't really have much to talk about. Life's been a little on the boring side lately.

I'm eating Cheeto puffs at the moment. I should really stop because I already feel sick from them. Why are they soo addicting!?!

Anyway, let me know what's been going on in your life! & I promise i'm going to try to get back in the swing of things.

That Exciting News!

Hello there!

On Friday I wrote a post saying I would be revealing some exciting news this Monday.

Its now Tuesday.

Sorry about that..

But i'm here now and its time!

I was nervous to share this but here goes!

Craig and I are having a baby!!

We're so beyond excited.

I am officially 3 months and 3 days.

So yeah, this is the reason I have been neglecting my blog a little bit these last few months.

Since I found out I was pregnant until maybe a week ago, I was very sick.

Every. Single. Day.

But! That seems to be passing a little now and I think i'm finally going to be able to enjoy the rest of this pregnancy!

So there you have it!

I'm a huge ball of mixed emotions but I think excitement wins over everything else :)

So glad I can finally share the news with you all.

Hope you have a happy day! :)

Flashback Friday #40 + News

Sometimes when looking through my old photo albums on Facebook, I come across an entire month of photos that make me really happy. The whole month just looks like it was a great time.
March of 2013 was one of these months.
I'm so thrilled that i've saved all of these photos to remember moments like this.

Those photos were from one of my most favorite days!
Craig and I drove around the Aspotogan Trail and stopped all along the way.
It was a beautiful day.

Our niece Eva.
Look at that chubby face!

My mom's birthday.
Craig was not impressed with his balloon haha!

A gorgeous snowy walk!

I'm grateful for these memories and the fact that they show happy times.
We're actually heading to Cape Breton this evening because there has been a death in the family.
A very sudden and unexpected death.

So I will not be posting all weekend as I will not have a computer handy.

Though this will most definitely be a weekend full of sadness, I have decided that when I get back on Monday i'm going to share that very exciting and happy news I wrote about a couple of weeks ago with you all!

So keep on the lookout for that on Monday.

I hope you all have a happy and safe weekend.

The Cold Days Are Coming...

Or maybe they're already here.

I couldn't leave the house today without my huge scarf wrapped around my neck three times. I don't even think it was actually all that cold today, I think I just had some major chills going on.
I'm still cold actually, sitting here wrapped in a blanket as I type this.

Today just reminded me of the blistering, cold winter days that are undoubtably just around the corner.

I'll be ready for you this year Winter.
You'll see.

On a different note- I need some advice from any readers who are good with makeup.
My skin is a little dry at the moment and I really want to find a nice foundation that looks dewy and hydrating without looking oily. And also one that gives fairly decent coverage.
I've been noticing lately that every foundation i've been using barely covers any spots on my face.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Anyway, i've got Aladdin on pause and some lindor chocolates calling my name.

Hope you all had a lovely day and weren't cold to the bone like I was.

Butterbear Bath Bomb | Lush

You've probably seen this little guy pop up all over the blogosphere lately- I know I have. And that's exactly why I had to purchase it. I haven't read a bad review once. So that mixed with the fact that its full of luxurious cocoa butter I just needed to give it a go!

Now, I love Lush. But even I sometimes think the products are a little overhyped (?) Don't get me wrong, I love them, but sometimes I just don't feel squeaky clean after i've been sitting in a tub filled with orange water and glitter. Maybe that's just me...

Well i'm here to tell you, that all of the hype Butterbear has been getting- is well deserved.

I've never used a bath bomb that i've loved so much.

Last night I turned on my bath water and just held the entire bear under the running water. And guess what? The water did absolutely nothing! No colors, no fizz, no bubbles! Seems as though we're off to a boring start.

Not even.

The beauty of this bath bomb does not lie in the often expected show at the beginning of your bath..

No, the greatness happens during your bath.

I was just lying in my bath, taking in the beautiful calming scent the bear was giving off and all of a sudden I rubbed my legs together. What I felt was a pleasant surprise!

It felt as though I had just rubbed cocoa butter all over my body.

My legs, arms, feet- all slick and smooth feeling! It may sound like it would feel strange but it was actually quite nice. I enjoyed it a lot.

The best part was even after getting out of the tub and drying off my skin still felt super soft and smelled lovely.

Butterbear is now my favorite Lush product and i'll definitely be heading back in to grab a few (dozen) more.

If you were debating on whether or not to try this bath bomb I strongly suggest you do!

How Gemini Am I? Part 1

I don't believe in horoscopes. You know the ones that are in the paper everyday and tell you how your day is "supposed" to pan out. Yeah, I don't think so. Now those astrology sites that give you all of this information about your Zodiac sign, like certain traits and qualities, that I have an easier time believing. Its actually kind of freaky how similar you seem to the description sometimes.

I thought it would be really fun to find descriptions on Gemini (that's my sign in case you haven't figured that out yet) and see just how closely I relate to it. So I came up with an idea for a little mini series called How Gemini Am I?

To make this even more interesting I thought why not read each description to my boyfriend and see if he thinks I relate in any way? Now that would be fun.

Black= Description
Blue= Craig's Response
Pink= My Response

On Strengths:
No to energetic.
You're very clever.
Very much imaginative and witty.
Somewhat adaptable. You will adapt to things for a while but then grow tired of having had to adapt to it and want to go back to the way things were.

I think I have to agree with Craig's answers.
So far things are looking good besides being energetic (I'm one of those lazy geminis I guess)

On Weaknesses
What does superficial mean?
Impulsive- No. You have to think things through a little before doing them. Not very spontaneous when it comes to bigger things.
Restless- Sometimes. There are times when you're nervous or worked up.
Devious- Kind Of. A Bit. Only to me.
Indecisive- hahaha I'm going to say majorly.

I agree with him for the most part. I think i'm a little more restless than he might think I am. I feel restless, anxious and uneasy quite a bit.

Gemini are extremely independent: Absolutely wrong.
They will not be pinned down by anyone or any rules: I say you won't be pinned down by anybody. You like following rules but don't like being bossed around by anyone.
They need to experience the world on their own: Wrong. You need to experience the world with somebody.
Change and freedom are extremely important to Gemini: About change- If you can help it, it won't happen. The freedom part- yes that is true.
They will never let anyone dictate them: That is definitely true.
They are extremely independent and freedom is essential to their mental well being: Negative on the independence but freedom is essential I think. But that doesn't mean it has to be on your own.

I think he gave some pretty accurate answers. I truly don't think I am very independent. I usually need someone around me. But there are certain aspects in the independence section that I think are very true. Like the 'never let anyone dictate them' I hate that.

Well that's it for part 1! I hope you found this at least a little interesting? I quite enjoy it myself.
If you're a gemini reading this, do any of these sound like you?
Let me know in the comments!

Flashback Friday #39

A compilation of photos from December 2012

Odd photos of Craig and myself

My little precious Eva when she was only 2 months old!
I can't believe how tiny she is!

I remember this morning so clearly!
We headed out to the lookoff real early in the morning before the sun was out.
It was absolutely freezing.
We just wanted to watch the sunrise over the water.

Always loved this picture <3

Life Lately | October Edition

Probably should have posted this yesterday as an end of the month kind of deal but you know, Halloween festivities were necessary!

Reading: I am STILL reading The Stolen Child. I hate when I start reading a book that i'm just not that in to. Yet I can't allow myself to just stop reading it. I feel like I have to finish.

Watching: Season 4 of Once Upon A Time, I've also started watching Faking It and Awkward. on

Listening: Been loving Taylor Swifts Wildest Dreams.

Eating: Far too many Halloween treats.

Excited: For some really big life changes. I can't talk about it right now but soon, I promise! Also, i'm pretty sure a move is in our near future!

Hoping: That I start to feel better soon. I've been feeling like poo lately. Yes, poo. I need that and all of my anxieties to take a hike!..please.

Buying: Absolutely nothing. I haven't properly spoiled myself with anything in a very long time and I say its well over due.

Dreaming: About next Spring.

Searching: We've been searching online for some cute apartments and also for a new car.

Explored: No where! Craig started a new job in September and we literally get one full day a week together to go out and do something. Add me feeling sick on top of that and we've just been having a lot of days/nights in.

How was your October?
